The Wynnstay Hotel, Oswestry, Shropshire, Oswestry

The hotel is really nice but in need of updating. The hike up three flights of stairs to get to the room wasn't ideal, and the lack of air conditioning was a downside. The service was great and very helpful, making my stay enjoyable. The location was comfortable but seemed a bit old-fashioned and shabby. The dining experience was good overall, with a slight letdown in the breakfast options. The facilities were okay but could use some improvements.

The hotel had well-furnished rooms done to a high standard, but the noise from the main road and late-night partygoers passing by was disruptive. Despite that, the service was very pleasant and informative, with some minor hiccups like staff showing up after breakfast start time. The location was excellent for exploring the town on foot and easily accessible by car, although it felt dinghy. The dining options were a bit standard for the price, lacking variety like more fruit or better bread choices. Overall, it was a mixed experience with some great features and some areas needing improvement.
